Diploma in International Financial Reporting – DipIFR
The Diploma in International Financial Reporting is an internationally recognized qualification in financial accounting using International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS / IAS). It is accredited by the ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and is aimed at accounting and finance professionals who already have experience in accounting. On passing the final exam, the participant will be able to use the letters DipIFR after his/her name.
The Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) builds up your knowledge of IFRS by empowering you with essential concepts and principles alongside their practical applications.
Upon completion of this diploma, trainees will be able to:
• Understand and explain the structure of the international professional and conceptual framework of financial reporting
• Apply relevant financial reporting standards to key elements of financial reports
• Identify and apply disclosure requirements for entities relating to the presentation of financial statements and notes
• Prepare group financial statements (excluding group cash-flow statements) including subsidiaries, associates, and joint arrangements
• CFOs, Finance Directors and Strategic Planners
• Accountants, Analysts, Auditors
• Investment Bankers, Corporate Bankers
• Private Equity and Merger & Acquisition Specialists
• Consultants practising Chartered Accountants (CA), Cost and Management Accountants (CMA)
• Graduates/Postgraduates who are part of the finance/accounting team
To obtain a certification of Completion in Diploma in International Financial Reporting, you must complete the diploma with an attendance of no less than 80%.
