Certified Internal Auditor
The CIA is the only globally accepted designation for internal auditors and the standard by which individuals demonstrate their professionalism in internal auditing.
The certified Internal Auditor course is designed to familiarize participants with the principles and techniques of auditing in addition to the scope of the internal auditor function.
Upon completion of this Course, trainees will be able to:
• Understand the foundation of knowledge required to be successful in the Certified Internal Auditor examinations
• Develop knowledge and understanding of internal audit methodology for successful performance of internal audits
• Understand IIA Standards, the ten Core Principles, the Code of Ethics, and the importance of independence and objectivity in the performance of audits
• Gain awareness of the use of technology to enhance the audit activity and audit process
• Become familiar with ways in which an organization can adapt to better compete in the global marketplace

To obtain a certification of Completion in Certified Internal Auditor, you must complete the course with an attendance of no less than 80%
